Designers and Developers, you are not powerless in this time of need. Our communities need urgent help more than ever. We can build digital infrastructure to help our nation's response and recovery be more effective and coordinated. Take your weekend at home and maybe help save lives!


We'll have members in the medical community, education and other experts that will give you guidance on the important things they need help with the most to inform what you might be able to build.

The Schedule


All Times Pacific

SATUrday: 12PM

Kickoff & Team Formation

You can join as a team or individual. If you are an individual who would like to be on a team, we will get you set up with one. This will be coordinated via Slack. Please come with an idea of the area of expertise you would like to focus on.

SAT: 1PM

Expert Presentations

We will have various experts in different fields with responding to this crisis talking about the problems they are seeing to help inform the hacks. These will be pre-recorded, livestreamed at this time and shared with the teams.

SAT: 3PM

Hackathon Begins

100% virtual hackathon. Our experts will be as available as possible for breakout sessions and questions in Slack. Teams will have a way of checking in regularly.

SUNDAY: 2pm

Submissions Due

All participants will remotely submit a quick submission form including screenshots, a description of their work, video of their product in action and or a link.

SUN: 2:30PM

Presentation and Demos

Livestreaming of demo videos will occur. Teams will be able to join and give commentary on their work either verbally or in writing.

Available panel members will ask questions and give feedback.

SUN: 3:30PM

Winners Announced!

Panel will decide on the best in the various categories. Winning ideas that can realistically be deployed will be paired with sponsors that will be able to help them develop it further.


The subsequent press release and media follow up will feature the winning teams.

100% Remote Hackathon

This event will be livestreamed.


We will be using an assortment of remote working tools. Please have the following installed and/or ready to use on your computer.
